In the world of KGF, Rocky is a force to be reckoned with. There are only two instances where we witness Rocky in a supine position, facing the heavens above, and confronting Death head-on. The first time, when Adheera shot him, he fought back against Death's call with fierce determination, emerging victorious in the end. The second time, in the climactic scene in the Indian Ocean, Rocky succumbed to Death's will, accepting his fate with a heavy heart. He has faced death twice and emerged victorious once, and his resilience in the face of adversity is nothing short of remarkable. But what lies at the heart of Rocky's strength? What gives him the courage to confront death head-on? The answer is simple: his mother. Rocky's mother is not just a parent or a role model - she is his soulmate. Her influence is felt in every aspect of his life, from his sense of purpose and ambition to his unwavering determination to succeed.

In first case, we see rocky on the bed in unconscious state shouting out loud and his mother soul (inside reena) drags his hand strongly in physical world shouting at him in anger to calm down and it stands as mother dragging his son to life from death. As I reflect on this scene and its profound implications, I cannot help but imagine a poignant dialogues that may have taken place between Rocky, Death, and the soul of Rocky's beloved mother. In my mind's eye, I see a powerful exchange of words that encapsulates the essence of human resilience, love, and determination.(Such is the magic of cinema, that it can inspire us to delve deeper into our own inner worlds and unearth hidden treasures of wisdom and courage.)

Rocky struggled to grasp what was happening to him. He felt the pull of death, but something inside him fought back.

It was his mother's soul, calling out to him with an urgent, angry voice. "Rocky! Rocky! You cannot leave me behind. You promised me that you would come back to me. You cannot break that promise!"

Death chuckled. "Your mother's soul is just as stubborn as you are, Rocky. But she cannot keep you from me. Your time has come."

Rocky refused to accept his fate. "I cannot leave yet! I have promises to keep, dreams to fulfill. My mother needs me!"

"Your mother will understand," Death replied. "She will be waiting for you on the other side."

But Rocky's mother's soul would not relent. "No! Rocky, you must fight! You must come back to me! You cannot leave me alone!"

Her voice grew louder and more insistent, and Rocky could feel her spirit pulling him back towards life. He took a deep breath and summoned all his strength, pushing back against the pull of death.

"You're right, Mother. I cannot leave you. I promised you that I would come back, and I will. I will not let you down."

Death snarled in frustration. "Very well. You may return, but remember this - I will come for you again. And when I do, there will be no escape."

Rocky felt the tug of life growing stronger, and with a final burst of energy, he broke free from death's grip.

(We audience are still haunted by Ssshhh....Sssshhhhh...Ssshhhhh sound of his mother making us realise that Rocky death is now just a small sleep)

Why Reena as life partner?

Rocky's encounter with Reena was nothing short of fate. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity, a deep connection to her that he couldn't quite explain. Her fierce spirit and unapologetic attitude were reminiscent of his own mother, a woman he held dear to his heart. Watching Reena confidently take a swig of beer in a crowded road was like watching his mother in her prime, unafraid to break free from societal norms and expectations. Seeing these qualities in Reena was like a breath of fresh air, a reminder of the kind of person he aspired to be.

As Rocky lay writhing in pain from the gunshot wound inflicted by Adheera, Death stood ready to claim him. But then, as if by some divine intervention, Reena was suddenly possessed by the soul of Rocky's mother, and a fierce strength coursed through her veins. With a primal scream that shook the very ground beneath them, Reena unleashed a power that Rocky had never seen before. It was a power born of love and determination, a power that Rocky knew could only have come from his mother's soul. In that moment, he realized that his mother was still with him, and the two women became inseparable in his mind.

Rocky had amassed great wealth and success, but all he desired was to be with his soulmate, his mother. He knew the only way to be reunited with her was to be punished and brought to justice, just as his mother would have done if he had strayed from the path of righteousness. So he sought out Rammika, a strong and independent woman who reminded him of his mother. He saw in her the determination and resolve that he respected and admired in his mother. When Rammika entered his life, he felt a jolt of recognition deep within his soul. Rocky challenged Rammika to use the full force of her military power to bring him to justice and abolish his kingdom. He knew that this was not an easy task, and it would require all of her strength and determination. But he was willing to face any punishment that came his way, knowing that it would bring him one step closer to his ultimate goal - to be reunited with his mother. For Rocky, this act of surrender and sacrifice was the ultimate expression of his love and devotion to his mother. He was ready to face any consequence, even if it meant losing everything he had ever worked for. In his heart, he knew that nothing was more important than being with the woman who had given him life and had been his guiding light all along.

Rocky had always been a devout worshipper of the goddess Kali, the fierce and powerful deity who represented the ultimate punishment for the wicked. He believed that only the most courageous and unyielding individuals could withstand her wrath and emerge victorious, and he saw in Rammika the embodiment of that power and strength (Kali puja scene just before Rammika being introduced symbolises this).

Climactic scene in the Indian Ocean (Second conversation with death)

As Rocky felt the icy embrace of the ocean water surround him, he knew that he had made his final choice. Death had come for him once again, but this time, he was ready to accept it. The weight of the gold around his neck and the emptiness in his heart were too much to bear, and he knew that his time had come.

And there, in the dark depths of the Indian Ocean, Death appeared before him, a haunting figure cloaked in shadows. But there was no fear in Rocky's heart, only a quiet acceptance. "I am ready," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the sound of the waves.

Death regarded him silently for a moment, his eyes seeming to pierce through Rocky's very soul. "You have lived a life of great passion and purpose," he said finally, his voice low and rumbling. "But in the end, you chose the wrong path."

Rocky nodded, a sad smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Perhaps," he conceded. "But I have no regrets. I did what I had to do, and I did it with all my heart."

Death regarded him for a long moment, as if weighing his words. "And what of your promise to your mother?" he asked finally, his voice softening.

Rocky's eyes closed momentarily, and for a moment, it seemed as if he might break. But then he straightened his shoulders, his eyes resolute. "I may not have fulfilled it in the way I intended," he said, his voice ringing out across the water. "But I believe that my mother would be proud of what I have done. I have lived a life of adventure, of love, and of passion. And now, as I sink into the depths of the ocean, I know that I will rest among the gold that she so loved. I have fulfilled my promise in my own way, and I am content."

With those final words, Rocky felt Death's embrace close around him, felt himself being lifted up and away from the world of the living. But even as he faded away into the darkness, he felt a sense of peace settle over him, a feeling that he had done what he had set out to do. And somewhere in the depths of the ocean, his mother smiled, knowing that her son had found his way home.
